About
We exist to help owners stop working harder on the wrong things — and start compounding what actually matters.
Marshland Consulting Group exists to change that. We sit beside founders and owners as trusted advisors — not consultants who hand you a report and disappear, but partners in the room with you. We find the leverage points others miss, and we turn them into durable, compounding enterprise value. Some of those points are hidden in the numbers. Some are hidden in plain sight. Our job is to find them, prioritize them, and help you act.
We don't think profit and purpose are a trade-off — we think one funds the other. The businesses we care about are the foundational, everyday ones: the companies that employ real people and anchor real communities, often in the markets the financial world flies over. When those businesses are built to last and transitioned well, the value doesn't just land on a balance sheet. It lands on families. That's the point. A healthy business funds a healthy life — and a healthier home. When an owner gets their time back, the first place it goes is family.
Every engagement starts with clarity — the handful of priorities that actually move enterprise value — and moves through a repeatable system: Focus, Grow, Scale, Exit. We bring the analytical rigor to see the whole board, and the operator's experience to know which move comes next.
The Principal
Strategist. Operator. Builder of enduring enterprise value.

Antwan Lawrence
Decisions the data can defend
Antwan Lawrence built his career on a simple conviction: the strongest decisions are the ones the data can defend. A mathematician by training — a B.S. in Mathematical Science from Grambling State University and a master's in Information Systems & Business Intelligence from DePaul University — he learned early that clarity beats noise, and that the right number, read the right way, changes everything.
For more than ten years, Antwan engineered the data and analytics engines behind four Fortune 500 healthcare organizations — Humana, UnitedHealth Group, Aetna, and Centene. He rose from analyst to enterprise program manager, building the data warehouses, reporting systems, and analytics that turn oceans of information into decisions leaders can act on — and leading the onshore and offshore teams that shipped them. He didn't just study how large, complex organizations create value. He built the machinery that let them.
Antwan became a serial founder, applying that same analytical rigor to new arenas — from AI-driven athlete injury prevention to next-generation performance training and healthcare-data ventures. Each one sharpened the same instinct: find the leverage, build the system, let it compound.
Along the way, Antwan made a deliberate choice: to build something on his own terms — closer to home, closer to family — anchored in a belief he repeats often: profit and purpose aren't a trade-off; one funds the other.
Today that conviction is Marshland Consulting Group. Antwan brings a rare pairing to every engagement — the discipline of the corporate boardroom and the culture of a championship team — and points it at the owners the financial world overlooks: the founders of real, everyday businesses that quietly power their communities. He isn't the loudest voice in the room. He's the strategist quietly engineering the outcome — finding the leverage others miss, and turning it into value that lasts for generations.
The Approach
A repeatable system for building — and eventually transitioning — a business that lasts.
It's built on foundational, cash-flowing businesses — the kind that quietly employ people and anchor communities. Marshland helps owners build, strengthen, and transition exactly those businesses, through one repeatable system. Every stage compounds into the next.
We start by isolating the handful of priorities that actually move enterprise value — and the distractions quietly draining it. Most owners are working hard on the wrong things. Clarity comes first, because everything after it compounds.
Most businesses are sitting on trapped revenue and dormant assets — pricing left on the table, offers never made, capacity never used. We surface them and put them to work. Real growth, without betting the company.
We build the systems, processes, team, and technology so the business runs on repeatable structure instead of heroics — and can grow without the owner in the middle of every decision. Momentum becomes a machine.
When the time is right, we position the business for a premium outcome — clean, defensible, and ready for the right buyer or successor. So the value you spent years building converts into the future you and your family deserve.
Under every stage is the same discipline Antwan brought from Fortune 500 data and modern operating practice: measure what matters, run tight check-ins, and build modular systems you can turn on again and again. It's why the approach doesn't just work once — it repeats.
Services
Everything an owner needs to focus, grow, scale, and exit — under one strategic roof.
Core capabilities
Trusted, hands-on counsel that sits beside you as a partner, not a report. We find the leverage points and turn them into a plan you can actually execute.
The operational backbone: repeatable structure that lets the business run — and grow — without depending on any one person.
The right tools, data, and automation to make the business faster, leaner, and easier to run.
Turn attention into revenue with positioning, pipeline, and go-to-market that converts.
We help owners identify, structure, and pursue the capital needed to grow or acquire — guiding the process end to end and connecting you to the right sources.
Additional capabilities
Build the team and leadership your next stage requires.
Advisory guidance to acquire, merge, or consolidate — from target identification through due diligence and integration.
Advisory guidance for owners exploring take-private paths.
Comprehensive support for the personal side of ownership — because the business, the life, and the family are inseparable.
Every engagement is built around your stage and your goals. We start by getting clear on the few things that matter most, map the path from where you are to where you're going, and stay beside you as it gets built. You always know what is being done, what is next, and why.
Private Equity & Capital
For owners ready to buy and build — and for capital partners who want to build alongside them.
We help owners and operators pursue acquisitions the right way — identifying the right business, structuring the offer, guiding due diligence, and mapping the growth plan for after the deal closes. You bring the ambition; we bring the system and the guidance to execute it.
Marshland works with capital partners and family offices who share a long-term, purpose-aligned view of value — people who want to build enduring businesses, not just move money.
Our attention concentrates where value is foundational and demand is durable — real estate, power, and infrastructure, including the data centers that quietly power everything else.
